We’re planning another significant event with new important new vehicles. We’ll be back on Washington’s scenic Kitsap Peninsula at The Ridge Motorsports Park for both on and off-road evaluations.
Once again, accommodations are at the idyllic Alderbrook Resort on the Hood Canal. Your registration for the event includes complimentary meals and lodging. When you register, NWAPA will make accommodation reservations for you. No need to contact the resort.

IMPORTANT- We expect every journalist participating in Mudfest to stay for both testing days and to drive every vehicle present before turning in scores. If you fail to follow these expectations, your scorecards will not be accepted for final vehicle scoring, and you may be restricted from attending future events.
The cost for media members to participate in Mudfest is $75 per journalist. Only invitees who have registered and paid may attend. Please, no visitors, spouses or guests who are not actively involved in the event's production. Assistants, photographers and camera operators are not allowed to participate in driving and scoring, and their rooms will not be covered unless they are active NWAPA members and in good standing with the group.
Journalist attendance is limited to the first 21 members to pay. This ensures there is ample time to evaluate each vehicle. If you fail to be one of the first 20 to register, your name will be put on a waiting list, in case there are cancellations.
To attend the event, you must be a current NWAPA member who has paid their annual membership dues. If your membership is not current, we will contact you, and you will not be added to the list of attendees until your 2026 dues have been paid.
